The CLS-MOD is a modification program for the Mercedes Benz engines in Claas forage harvesters. This modification program is the result of years of testing and provides reliable results, increasing the horsepower by 15% and reducing fuel consumption by up to 15%, on a per acre basis.
We were not satisfied with the results from a "plug-in" solution to gaining more power from these engines, but were determined to increase their performance. This required a new approach for us, which in this case requires us to modify the engine's ECU at our facilities. This is the only way we feel provides the performance with the level of durability and reliability that not only we expect from our products, but our customers deserve and have come to expect.

This modification requires the following timeline of events:
The customer contacts us and places and order for this modification. A 50% deposit is required.
The customer removes the ECU from their machine and ships it to ATO, Inc. Note: your machine will not operate without its ECU.
ATO removes the circuit board from the ECU housing, modifies it, reassembles it and reprograms it. Due in part to the adhesives and encapsulating compounds used in the construction of the ECU, this is a very time consuming process and can't be rushed.
ATO returns the ECU to the customer.
The customer re-installs the ECU and enjoys a 15% increase in horsepower.
We often have the ECU back to the customer within 2 weeks of receiving it, but plan for a 3 week turn around to allow for shipping, etc.

UPS Next-Day return shipping is included where available. Expect 3 weeks for return of your ECU after ATO receives it.
The CLS-MOD requires removal of your ECU and re-installation once returned from ATO.
