Independent Dealer Requirements & Terms:

General Requirements

•  As stated above, ATO’s reputation is based on treating customers fairly & honestly and providing a superior product with superior service. We expect the same of our independent dealers. ATO also pledges to treat you with the same integrity with which we treat our regular customers.

•  Any person is eligible to be a dealer as long as they meet these requirements and terms, though the final decision will rest solely with ATO, Inc.

Terms

•  All dealers receive the same pricing structure (including OEM dealers and fuel shops). Exceptions may be made for exceptional sales.

•  Since we don’t have the ability to investigate every independent dealer request, the following policy is in place to protect dealer pricing:

Independent dealer’s initial order(s) covering their first 6 PowerBoxes ordered will be charged at full list prices. The dealer discount for these initial PowerBoxes will be applied to the subsequent 6 PowerBoxes ordered. If the discount for the first 6 PowerBoxes totalled $600, then the next 6 PowerBoxes ordered will all receive an additional $100 discount above regular dealer pricing. By the time 12 PowerBoxes have been ordered, you have will received the proper dealer discount for each one.

•  Orders for the initial 6 PowerBoxes must be paid in full prior to shipment by credit card. Subsequent orders require a 50% deposit, by credit card, before shipment.  Outstanding balances are net 30.

•  Orders are subject to all applicable taxes.

•  When shipping internationally, any border duties or taxes are the sole responsibility of the reciever.

•  Dealer discounts are based on the list price charged to customers by ATO. Dealers are providing a valuable service above what ATO can offer (local contact, installation assistance, etc.), and as such have the option to charge above ATO’s list, if desired.

•  All the packaging and installation instructions must be supplied to the customer, even if you install the product.

•  ATO’s model and serial number stickers and ATO Contact Information must remain in place on all PowerBoxes.  Dealers are encouraged to add their own “sold-by” stickers to a PowerBox, as long as it doesn’t cover our stickers.  This requirement is solely for the purpose of ensuring that a customer has access to the information they need to contact us should they require technical support.

Notes

ATO is unable to provide protected territories.  We are in the process of implementing a system to recommend local dealers if a customer requests one (help us by emailing us suggestions on how to make this system work well for you).

Shipping

Standard shipping is included (generally UPS to the USA and Australia and Canada Post to Canada).  Delivery is normally about 3-5 days to most locations in North America.  Given the distance, Australian customers should expect 5-10 day shipping and customs clearance.

UPS next day shipping or premium shipping (where next day isn’t available (Australia, remote locations in North America)) is available at the following rates:  1-2 PowerBoxes, $30; 3-4 PowerBoxes, $50; 5 or more, $10 per PowerBox.

Warranty Coverage and Claims:

All of ATO’s PowerBoxes come with a limited lifetime warranty.  This warranty is a 3 year next day replacement and a pro-rated 50% replacement cost there-after.  Full warranty details can be found by following the link.

Warranty coverage starts as of the sale date to your customer.  It is expected that one of the services you provide your customer is for you to contact us regarding warranty and other tech support issues, but as our ultimate responsibility is to the person who buys the PowerBox, we will deal directly with them for warranty and tech support if needed.
