Warranty Information

ATO takes pride in designing and manufacturing high quality products.  Our goal is for every PowerBox to outlast the machine it is installed on.  But, should you have a problem, we stand behind our products.

Warranty:

Every PowerBox comes with a limited lifetime warranty covering the operation of the PowerBox.

Coverage:

first three years:  100% coverage

Should a PowerBox need to be replaced during the first three years from date of purchase, it will be replaced free of charge by ATO.  The defective PowerBox must be returned to ATO within 30 days.

after three years:  50% pro-rated coverage

Should a PowerBox need to be replaced more than three years from the date of purchase, a replacement PowerBox will be made available for 50% of the current list price of that PowerBox model or 50% of the original purchase list price, which ever is less.  The defective PowerBox must be returned to ATO within 30 days.

Details:

This warranty is transferable during the first three years.  The remainder of the lifetime warranty applies to the person who owns the PowerBox on the three year anniversary of it’s purchase from ATO, Inc., or from an authorized dealer.  If the original date of sale cannot be verified (ie. current owner does not know who initially purchased the PowerBox or an invoice from a dealer cannot be located), then the date of manufacture shall be deemed the start date for warranty coverage.

This warranty is void if the PowerBox, it’s wiring harness or any part thereof has been tampered with, has been modified, has been abused or been subjected to unauthorized repairs of any kind or if the serial number sticker on top of the PowerBox has been removed or if the damage is due to improper installation.

Warranty Claim Procedure:

You must contact ATO for tech support and return authorization before returning a PowerBox.  Any PowerBox received without a return authorization is subject to being returned to sender unopened.

1.  If you encounter a problem with your PowerBox, contact us for Tech Support.

2.  If we are unable to resolve your problem, we will ship you a replacement PowerBox (free of charge within 3 years of purchase, or a replacement PowerBox will offered at 50% of the current list price or purchase list price, which ever is less).  Your replacement PowerBox will include a return authorization and will come with an invoice for the full amount of the PowerBox.  Upon return of the defective PowerBox, your account will be credited for the replacement.  Returns must be received within 30 days. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
